Virtual World Fitness presents: Strength and Mass

1. EAT EAT EAT Gaining strength and mass requires dedication; to both your routine and diet. As far as nutrition goes, make sure to consume ATLEAST 1 to 2 grams of protein for every pound and a minimum of 3 grams of carbs. Fats should be quality like olive oil, peanut butter and flaxseed oil. Your body needs to ALWAYS live in excess energy mode. Cardio…forget about it. You need your calories, so do not engage in any cardio activity. 2. 150% INTENSITY To make muscles grow you have to destroy them in the gym! Train with intensity at all times, making sure you keep great form. Weights should be HEAVY; at least heavy enough for you to accomplish 6-10 reps per set…at 150% intensity! (Again, if you do not have proper form, check your weight) 3. THE ESSENTIALS Make sure to include the grand daddy’s of all time exercises; the bench, deadlifts and squats. Proven to increase strength and size, always fit these in your routine. 4. BE ON POINT Consistency is the name of the game. Make it your priority to stick with your workout routine. If you...
