The Lunch Box Diet
The Lunch Box Diet is a small downloadable document (10 pages) from UK personal trainer Simon Lovell. Although Simon describes the diet as "no fad" its recent appearance in Elle Magazine may well change that. So what is the "lunch box diet"? It's a simple concept: -Get yourself a large plastic lunchbox -Fill it with a highly nutritious mix of vegetables, proteins, and fats. -Slowly graze on the lunch box contents all through the day (i.e. in between breakfast and dinner). The idea here is to snack on some food every hour or so (never gorge). Elle calls it a "tried & tested party diet". The mix in the lunchbox should be something like 60% vegetables, 30% lean proteins, and 10% dressing. Favorite vegetables include Broccoli, Spinach, Avocado, Chilli pepper, Sugarsnap peas, and asparagus. Proteins may include things like Tuna, Grilled Chicken or Turkey Breast.
